Ellen Barrosse founded Synchrogenix in 1986, then called Writers, Inc., as a one-person writing company. Over the following two decades, the company evolved to meet the changing needs of the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries with an unwavering commitment to delivering the highest quality technical and scientific documents. Ms. Barrosse was the driving force in propelling Synchrogenix into a multi-million dollar regulatory writing company with eight offices globally and over 80 employees.
Throughout her career, Ms. Barrosse earned several awards, including the Business Woman of the Year by the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and the Entrepreneurial Woman of the Year by the New Castle County Business Ledger.
In April of 2014, Synchrogenix merged with Certara™, a global scientific consulting and software products company. Ms. Barrosse recently retired from her position of CEO and will continue to provide consultation to Certara™ and its business units as Strategic Advisor to the CEO.
