Flexible Service Models
At Synchrogenix, we provide services that fit your needs, whether it's a one-time project or a long-term relationship spanning many years. Our operational and contractual models vary depending on the client and the project, and can be adjusted as needed at any time during the process. See below for a basic description of our operational relationships, keeping in mind that these are merely a starting point for the dialogue.
Operational Models
Support Team
Many of our clients are managers of in-house writing groups who call on Synchrogenix when volume increases or specific expertise is needed. From a small CSR to a full submission, Synchrogenix provides the right number of resources with the appropriate expertise and experience to complete the job efficiently and skillfully. Individual projects can form an excellent foundation for a working relationship.
Preferred Provider
Synchrogenix has preferred-provider relationships with many pharmaceutical and biotech companies. In this relationship, we establish a master services agreement and assign the client a core team consisting of a project manager, writers, and editors. The PM serves as the client's primary point of contact, overseeing the project from intake through delivery and ensuring communication throughout. A permanently-assigned core team helps both the client and Synchrogenix increase their knowledge of each other's organization, processes, and team dynamics. If the project expands along the way and requires resources beyond those in the core team, we simply assign additional staff.
Outsourcing
More and more pharmaceutical and biotech companies are outsourcing regulatory writing altogether. This relationship shifts work to Synchrogenix and also hands over complete responsibility for the operations of the function.
Contractual Models
Time and Materials: A fee calculated on rates needed for individuals and materials to complete the project
Fixed Fee: A fee for the completed project with milestone payments against each deliverable
Retainer: A fixed fee per month with a set number of FTEs (Full Time Employees) allocated to the account
